The photo on the left are six flowers as seen by humans; on the right are the same flowers taken with an ultraviolet-transmitting filter. Although, of course, no one knows what another organism actually "sees" research indicates that the photos on the right are more similar to what a honeybee would experience when looking at these flowers. Honeybees cannot "see" the color red.
