How to use a Palm Computer (Big Clock Example)
More information on using a Palm computer is
here:

The "On button" is most-likely located on the front of the palm computer. Once
the system boots, remove the stylus from the system by sliding it up and out.
The stylus is used to tap and select a program or function (much like a mouse).
A single tap is sufficient to access a function (not double-clicks as in
Windows). Do NOT use a pen, pencil, or other object to tap on the screen. Soft
taps are sufficient to select an option! Tapping hard will not make it work
better and may shatter the screen.

NOTE: To save power, the Palm computer is set to automatically turn off after
(probably) two minutes. If it shuts off just turn it on again. It keeps time
even when shut down.

The upper right-hand corner shows the current directory. If it is not in "Main",
tap on the directory in the upper left, and then select "Main". If the system
does not recognize your tap, try again, then see your instructor. A soft tap
is sufficient. Tapping harder will not make it work!

Tap on "BigClock" (
) to
select the stopwatch function. Your main page may look different, but should
include BigClock. If not, check in another directory. If it is missing, see your
instructor.

This is BigClock's main screen, The time and date may be wrong. That doesn't
matter since we're only interested in the timer function. Tap on the timer
function in the lower right-hand corner.

The timer may not be at 00:00:00. If not, tap the Reset button to zero the
timer. It should be set on timer 1 with a count up (see
RED arrows above). Tap to select count up and
timer 1 if not highlighted. Press the Start button to begin timing.

The Start button reads "Stop" while timing. Press the Stop button to pause the
timer. Click the Reset button to begin timing again at 00:00:00, if necessary.
