World Oil Forecasting Program Software Download Instructions for WINDOWS Before you can use the World Oil Forecasting Program, you need to have the Oil Models and STELLA 6.0 installed on your computer's Hard Disk. Part I. Download the Forecasting Models 1. Go to the Models page of the website. Proceed to the downloads page. Click on 'Windows' under the download models section. The 'Models Page - Windows' appears. 2. Click on the hot-link '8 models'. The models download to your Hard Disk (2-3 minutes). 3. When the download is complete, you will have a file called 'models.zip' in the folder you specified. Use Winzip to decompress the file. 4. Return to the Models download page of the website to download STELLA 6.0. Part II. Download STELLA 6.0 (If you already have STELLA 6.0 installed, then omit this Part.) 1. On the Models download page of the website, click on the hot-link 'STELLA' (Run-Tme version. The High Performance Systems (HPS) website appears. Click on 'Education Solutions' in the nav bar(top of page). Click 'STELLA 6.0'. Click 'Down load a STELLA demo'. In the table, choose the "Phys Sci, Math &Engineering' option appropriate for your platform. Follow the download instructions. 2. When the download is complete, run the downloaded file using the'Start/Run' function, and browsing for the file. 3. Note that the 'Run-Time' version of STELLA 6.0 has the full STELLA 6.0 capabilities, except that you can't save any of your changes. However, you can make any changes or additions you wish; re-run the models; and print out the resulting graphs, tables, etc., as desired. It's just that you can't save them. The 'Save' capability requires a commercial version of STELLA 6.0. You get the picture. 4. You can now open the Oil Forecasting Models in STELLA 6.0 Run-Time Rev. 8-28-00
