i-Cybie Sensory Systems.

The microphones can be used to triangulate directional information. The range finder is an IR system. Head, nose, and back touch sensors are used to interact with the robot. The stock robot is capable of wandering through a room and rarely gets into a situation it can't get out of. It can recognize 8 voice commands if trained to your voice. The stock personality is rather annoying since it switches among incompatible behaviors (such as those associated with anger and happy). Programming the ROM can fix these annoyances.

i-Cybie generalized program matrix. The programming language (YICT and IC-SDK) and modification info (including wireless RS-232) can be found here.

i-Cybie charging station and charging. When voltage drops, i-Cybie sends out an IR pulse that is recognized and answered by the charging station. The robot uses this signal to line up with and approach the station.
