Here’s what
happened:
We purchased a
new toaster for our employee lunch room on Thursday.
We put some bread in it. Some of the bread that we
toasted got burned with an image that looks like
President George W. Bush!! The image is actually
burned on – we did NOT paint or draw this image on the
toast!
The Virgin Mary
Grilled Cheese and Jesus on Perogi “resemble” a
person’s face. Maybe they were created by Divine
Intervention, I have no idea. I DO know, however,
that these burn marks don’t just look like a face, but
they look EXACTLY like our President!!!!
Not all toast
coming out of the toaster is getting burnt like this.
We have toasted several loaves of bread so far and
have some pieces that have the burn marks. We have no
clue if the burning will continue or how many we will
end up with.
The toast you
get will not be the one shown, but it will be burnt
with the distinctive pattern. 10 out of 10 people
will be able to look at your toast and see the bizarre
resemblance to President Bush. The difference between
pieces is caused by the bread, because every piece is
slightly different. Also, this toaster – like most
other “regular” toasters – seems to make each piece
slightly different. Some toast darker than others.
The burning
pattern resembling President Bush will vary too. Some
are darker than others, but the image is otherwise
virtually the same!
This is NOT a
hoax!! This toast will amaze you like it amazed us.
Look at the burn marks closely – this is SPOOKY!!!
This sounds
corny, but we are including a Certificate of
Authenticity – with our personal guarantee that the
toast you receive was toasted in our lunch room
toaster with our promise that no dyes, paints, stains
or chemicals were used to create the image. We did
not put anything on this toast, so please don’t
speculate that we are painting the image on!!
There are two
reasons we are not asking much for this toast:
First,
while toast like this is certainly rare – they are not
one-of-a-kind. We already have more than a dozen
pieces burnt with the image.
Second,
these toasts are FUN! They make a great conversation
piece – and you can amaze your friends and neighbors
with a piece of historical toast – but why should you
pay a fortune for this??!
I am only
listing pieces we actually have. We are keeping a few
pieces for ourselves. If more toast gets burnt with
this pattern, I will add another auction. I cannot
say how many more – if any – we will get – so get
these while their hot! (sorry for the pun!)
